Consulting is not necessarily for everyone. To succeed requires
you to have tertiary qualifications and skills, and experience
across a range of areas and disciplines, however successful consultants
also need a certain mindset, the right attitude, and a sense of
humour.

Due to the complex and ever changing nature of our business and
the clients that we work with Adeptus staff are constantly challenged

· Can you delve into your past experiences and use those
experiences to provide solutions to unique problems?
Adeptus staff may work from client offices, head office, at home
or in a motel room. The support you would find in a "normal"
office may not be available, and neither may be the social working
environment -
· Can you work on your own?
· Do you consider yourself to be relatively self-sufficient?
· Do you motivate yourself to get the job done?
· Can you manage yourself and your time?
· Can you commit to working some pretty strange hours?
You will need superior written and oral skills. Significant client
contact is required and all staff must be able to confidently
present themselves, their ideas and recommendations in meetings
as well as in reports. Further, Adeptus staff must be able to deal
with client staff at all levels up to and including Board level

· Do you have well developed public speaking skills?
· Are you comfortable writing clear concise reports?
· Are you as comfortable at a cocktail party as you are
in a boardroom?
